Getting Here
Round-trip transport to Green Acres is provided with the tour, for pick-ups within Penang Island. Sit back and enjoy a scenic drive to Balik Pulau with our friendly, experienced drivers — your first glimpse of the beauty that awaits.
Green Acres Orchard is a 16-acre chemical-free fruit farm, with over 800 tropical fruit trees, including heirloom species of fruits which were planted more than 80 years ago. Its wide variety of tropical fruits include pineapples, cikus, jackfruits, papayas, calamansi lime, cocoa, mangosteens, rambutan, cempedak, longans, pomelos and durians.
We are happy to be one of the few remaining farms in Penang with thriving clove and nutmeg trees. Cloves are hand picked, cleaned and sun-dried for high quality aromatic cloves. Nutmegs are harvested to make jams, preserves and tea infusions while its seeds are sun-dried for nutmeg spice.
As a chemical free farm that has been organically maintained, pesticide free for the last 80 years since it was farmed, wild herbs and wild edible flowers flourish in abundance, with some being local endemic species. Time schedules can be adjusted for private tours - please contact us with your enquiry.
This tour is not available during Durian Season (May - July), as we are running our Durian Tasting Tours instead.
Wear comfortable shoes for walking.
Wear suitable clothes for protection against the sun.
Cap or hat or mini umbrella for protection from sun or rain.
Bring mosquito repellant if you need.

Note: Surcharge for transport is applicable for pick-ups from the mainland e.g. Butterworth or Seberang Perai (payable in advance before the tour date).
