- Farm experience through guided farm walk and tastings along the way
- Sharing on durians - differences in varieties and how to tell them apart, how to choose fresh durians, commercial vs sustainably grown durians
- Guided durian tasting - get the best picks of durian varieties available on the day
Enjoy durians like in wine tasting - slowly work your way from the mild to the stronger tasting durians. We normally have guests picking up a new favourite from these durian tasting sessions. Discover yours!

- We serve only durians from our own organic farm, from selected best picks of the day, including durians from matured 80-100+ year old trees.
- Other seasonal fruits are also included, what's available on the day. Cempedaks, mangosteens and rambutan harvest are later in the season (late June -July)
To ensure the best experience, our tours are limited to small groups.

Our Durian Tasting Tour begins with a guided farm walk through lush orchards where you can pick and taste durians right from the trees. Along the way, explore a rich diversity of tropical fruits, local spices, and wild medicinal herbs thriving naturally in our chemical-free environment.
The experience is perfect for families — children especially love this hands-on adventure where they get to observe, touch, smell, taste, and learn about nature.
After your walk, relax at our charming Durian Hut, a traditional Malay kampung (village) house overlooking the orchard and scenic Balik Pulau hills. Breathe in the fresh air and savour each unique durian variety served to you in a rustic, authentic setting.

PROGRAM
3:00 PM – Arrival at Green Acres Orchard, Balik Pulau
• Welcome and introduction
• Guided farm tour through the orchard
4:00 PM – Durian Tasting Session
• Savour freshly harvested durians and other seasonal fruits
• Relax, capture memorable moments, and share your durian stories
5:00 PM – End of Tour & Departure
• Enjoy a final look around the orchard and bid farewell

2 hours of Durian Tasting and Farm Experience inclusive of:
- Educational farm experience through an orchard walk with farm owner
- Fruits, herbs and spices pick-and-taste during walk
- Guided durian tasting (unlimited varieties as available on the day)
- Browse and learn about local farm products, including Penang's signature spices, nutmegs and cloves
Transport to farm is not included.
The farm is 15 minutes' drive from Balik Pulau town center.
If you need transport, we recommend that you book a round trip transfer (available option for booking our website). Service is provided by a pool of licensed taxi drivers who are experienced drivers familiar with the hill roads to our farm and can pick you up from your Residence /Hotel /Airbnb for a round trip transfer.
If you are driving, once you have booked, we will send you our meeting point in Balik Pulau and we will guide your car up from here on the day.
As we are located remote on the hills, it is not possible to get a Grabcar (Uber) to or from our farm.
Farm is accessible by cars, MPVs, 4x4 pickup trucks only.
Advance bookings required with a minimum of 2 persons per booking.
Group discounts applicable for booking of 4 persons or more.
