A Sustainable Farm

Green Acres Orchard & Ecolodge is a 16-acre organic fruit farm in Balik Pulau, Penang, Malaysia. 

Sustainably farmed for the last 70 years, Green Acres does not use chemical fertilisers, pesticides or insecticides on the farm, minimising pollution to the surrounding environment. All produces are organically grown using own-made compost fertilizers. Committed to sustainable tourism, Green Acres offer farmstays in only 2 lodgings - a treehouse and a reassembled traditional Malay house (as shown in the photo above), using reclaimed materials to build and electricity generated by solar panels.  

Durian Season 2024

Durian Tasting tours for the season are no longer available as durian season has ended. 

It has been an intensively busy season for us and we would like to thank all our guests for joining us at our sustainable farm. See you next in June 2025 for more Durian Tasting and a sensory farm experience!
